Following on from Microsoft XNA suite Nintendo has announced that they are launching WiiWare in the beginning of next year.
With WiiWare your smaller developers with smaller budgets are going to be given the opportunity to create games for the Wii that can then be sold through the Wii Shop…
I think this and XNA are fantastic additions to this generations war and in a couple of years time we are going to start really seeing some great ideas coming through.
Now we just need Sony to come to the party as well.
