Xbox 360 – The unconfirmed 2008 titles

So what can the 360 fans expect to see next year? Well I am still putting together the confirmed list but Games Radar has gone ahead and put together it’s list of unconfirmed suprise exclusives…

Top of the list being a Gears of War 2 that will sneak in before christmas, then another verion of GRAW (GRAW3), a new tomb raider and an elder MMO to name a few.

What is also on the horizon is two new Alien games. A FPS and a RPG… I have to say the movie Aliens scared the bejeebers out of me when I was a kid and I am yet to actually watch them again… I am not so sure how happy I will be about having to review that game…

Not so much RSV and GRAW, but SC:Conviction sounds really interesting and Endwar sounds absolutely mind blowing.

Never enjoyed any of Tom Clancy’s titles. To complicated and clinical for me. Gears 2 – I really can’t wait.

I’m looking forward to Rainbow Six, it does appear that it’ll be more of an R6:LV expansion than a new game, but i really enjoyed the LV so hopefully it’ll be cool.

Also looking forward to Lost Odessey, but want Eternal Sonata first.

Gears 2 is going to be awesome. It’ll be very hard for Epic to mess that one up.

So given the ending of Halo 3, do you think MS is going to make a Halo 4 ?

    I don’t.

I think it’s the last we’ll see of Master Chief for a long time.

My hope would be that the next “Halo” game will be more of a Squad based shooter using regulars and ODST troops – like a “Battlefield Halo”. 😉 Or even the Elite’s might join up with the Humans to take on the remainder of the Covenant.

I’d only see them coming to to MC as a cameo a few games down the line, like a “Retrieve the beacon mission”.

It just wouldn’t surprise me if MS milked it further. A new Halo every year Activision style.

Anyway, Halo Wars looks interesting. I liked the control scheme in C&C3, but not enough to actually buy the game. It still wasn’t comfy enough. Let’s see if Halo Wars or TC:Endwar get it right (or close enough) next year.

The list is originally from an Xbox magazine, which is why it only talks about these games being for the 360, but I’m pretty sure games like GRAW3 and Tomb Raider aren’t going to end up exclusive.
