Greetings, Traveller! Borderlands, the first-person shooter take on hack ‘n slash, loot-a-thon RPGs was quite possibly my favourite game from last year.
It was made even better by the sometimes funny, sometimes difficult, always awesome DLC. for Xbox 360 gold Members, that DLC will be available this week for a generous 50% off.
The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxie’s Underdome Riot and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx are all available for 400 MS points, down from their regular 800 points.
Zombie Island and especially Secret Armory are probably the most worthwhile, adding hours of fun, new guns, new enemies, new vehicles and new areas. If you like arena shooting – like Gears of War’s horde mode, then grab the Underdome too – at this price, there’s really no reason not to.
