So Friday is Black Ops 3 day. While most of us are just excited to get their hands on the new Call of Duty, which is promising to revolutionise the way Call of Duty is played, there are a few lucky people in this country who were able to secure one of the most amazing limited editions for a game ever released:
The Juggernog edition which includes a fully working fridge to keep a dozen cans of your favourite beverage cold while you dominate.
Unfortunately they were extremely limited and as such sold out quickly. But we sent our crack spy, Darryn, to break in and while he was stuck in the window and making a right old noise we snuck in the back and grabbed one to give away.
But this time we felt it was only right to reward true fans of the game so to win this you are going to have to own a copy of the game, on any platform.
How to Win
One of the new featured game modes in Black Ops 3 is called Free Run and the entire objective is to get to the other end of a pre-set course as quickly as possible. However since Call of Duty Black Ops 3 has now introduced a plethora of new movement options it really isn’t as easy as you think.
So what do we need you to do? Well it’s pretty simple, just open the game, go to Multiplayer, select free run, select Expert and finish the course faster than anyone else who tries.
I was recently given an opportunity to try and I completed it in 18 minutes on my first attempt. The second I dropped that down to around 14 minutes. The best I saw at the event was 3 minutes 47 and there are rumours of a 2 minutes 23 seconds run. But I don’t believe it.
So that’s it, you will have until midnight on Monday the 9th of November to email your time, gamertag and picture proof of this achievement to email@example.com
And while photo shopping may be appealing the times you lodge are listed against your gamertag on the Call of Duty servers so don’t bother wasting your time.
But what is Free Run
Still confused? Here watch this video of the Free Run being completed
So watch it, memorise it and then forget it as they have changed the route and it is now much much harder than this.
But this gives you some great ideas on how to get through the courses quickly. And this Juggernog Fridge is the very last one available in South Africa, if you want one then this is your last chance. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
As this competition is 100% skill based it is open to every resident of South Africa including media, distributors and general fans of being awesome. The only person not eligible to win this competition is me, as I already ordered myself one months ago. That and I suck at the free run mode anyway.
