Don’t you just hate it when you’re running around shooting at stuff and a T-Rex takes your gun? I sure do. Anyway, Primal Carnage launched on Steam, giving you the chance to be the T-Rex. It’s probably one of the weirdest but most amazing online shooters ever, check it out.
Primal Carnage is an online multiplayer pitting humans and dinosaurs against each other in PvP combat. You can choose to be either human or dinosaur and play modes like Team Death Match.
Humans get a variety of super awesome weapons, including flamethrowers and as a dinosaur; you can even be a Pterodactyl and tear humans a new one like in that Pterodactyl song: The Motherfreaking Pterodactyl by Sarah Donner and The Oatmeal. The game is available for about R130.
Game Features:
- Five distinct levels with large, open environments, including lush jungles, open fields, and the sky; hunt and be hunted!
- 10 playable classes (five human, five dinosaur) each with unique skills and abilities that can trump each other in a rock-paper-scissors fashion
- Play from both first-person (humans) and third-person (dinosaurs) perspective
- Multiple achievements, unlockables and planned DLC
