DI Rise Against the Empire

Disney hasn’t made everyone totally happy with their Star Wars related decisions, most recently with that whole “RPG” announcement. However, the thing I said way before the initial Disney Infinity 3.0 reveal was that I wanted figurines for my favourite characters, regardless of if I even bought the full game. And now I can.

DI RATE 1

Disney Infinity 3.0 is getting three Star Wars play sets this year. One of them is Rise Against the Empire, a set that takes iconic moments from the original (read: best) Star Wars trilogy and brings them to video game life.

DI RATE 2

Star Wars Rise Against the Empire will take players on galaxy-spanning missions with legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker, Rebel leader Princess Leia Organa, heroic smuggler Han Solo and his trusty co-pilot Chewbacca to help defeat Darth Vader and overthrow the evil Galactic Empire.

Non-stop, action-packed adventure awaits players as they explore open world planets like Tatooine on foot or on a Bantha, take down AT-AT walkers aboard a snowspeeder on Hoth, out-maneuver stormtroopers on a speeder bike on Endor, and partake in epic space battles in an X-wing starfighter to destroy the Death Star.

DI RATE Han shot first

And just like that, I need Disney Infinity 3.0. Nope, I can’t resist – just look at these adorable figures!

I am so excited by this. The figurines are looking awesome, and even if I don’t get the game (which I probably will because I’m keen to play through all those legendary Star Wars moments myself) I will need the toys to adorn every shelf in my house. I definitely need Luke and Leia, and Han and the Wookiee, and Darth Vader and Yoda and what about R2D2 and C3PO? Someone please hide my wallet from me before it’s too late!

DI RATE 4

Disney Infinity 3.0 is coming later this year and is poised to be the most successful iteration in the franchise yet. I almost feel bad for kids this time around – they won’t get time with their own games because parents will be too excited to play it themselves.

It’s when a Jedi can sense most things in the universe accept when his sister is about to kiss him?

It’s a given that they gave Han the stereotypical prince treatment being Disney, but Tie Fighters shooting red lasers? Come on!

I dont remember Star Wars being targeted for 6 year olds. When I was 6 all adult films were targeted for children. I dont understand this. CRAZY 😛
