We finally got around to reviewing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!, and rather liked it. Well, Darryn did. I’ve yet to play the game, and because I couch co-op the game with the wife, I’m planning on picking it up on console. I can’t bare to load up anything on my aging PS3 and Xbox 360 though, because their low resolutions and poor frame rates make me want to puke all over my own shoes. So I’m holding out in the hope that the game gets ported to the PS4 , and looks and runs much like the PC version.
Unfortunately there’s no word of that happening. Gearbox and 2K Australia have said they’re sticking to the old consoles and PC, as they have large enough install bases, but that leaves folk who’ve sold their old consoles to afford their new ones left eating moon dust. I rather expect that we’ll see a port of the game to new consoles sooner rather than later, no matter what 2K says.
Is Borderlands: The Pre sequel coming to new consoles? Probably, and the whole idea’s just been given a boost thanks to what could be a simple, innocent error on the PSN store…or a portent of things to come. NeoGAF reader 7DollarHagane spotted this on the US PlayStation store under the PS4 section.
While this proves absolutely nothing and really is just the result of some sort of clerical error, it is worth noting that the PS4’s store is wholly curated. The digital game next to it, Terraria, isn’t on the PS4 either – but is coming to the system in November. Could Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! be coming to the PlayStation 4 too?

The thing I like most about 2 has got to be that you can choose your connection for co-op. No need to force online for a LAN

Agreed. No new enemies, they took away old enemies, half the levels have normal gravity, there will be way less DLC, and its much shorter.

Perhaps they did not say it was coming to PS4 in order to keep sales focused on the other platforms. For reasons I could not bothered to think of now. Hot, tired. SWIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
