No, we’re not talking about “that” typical casting couch activity…

Given the apparently great lengths Fox is going to in order to keep Hugh Jackman all clawed and mutton-chopped for several more movies, today we want to know if there are any film characters you wish were recast? If you had the power to replace any actor or actress in an iconic role with another, who would it be? Here’s your chance to change cinema history and/or drastically improve some big screen duds.

Spiderman, I’d like him recast as someone not terrible. Actually, that’s not fair. The new reboot is terrible. Hmmm.

Storm – anyone but Halle Berry.

I was going to say Halle Berry as Storm, but thought perhaps I have an agenda against her… glad I’m not the only one that thought she was terrible in the x-men films….

I disagree completely… not with the Storm part… with the Spider-Man part. I thought Garfield played the role superbly.

Yeah. While I think Amazing Spider-Man had a couple of major flaws, casting Andrew Garfield was definitely not one of them. His Peter Parker/Spider-Man actually looks and sounds like the Peter Parker/Spider-Man from the comics, and not the mopey sap that Tobey Maguire was.

been trying to think of films other than superhero films, but I thought Terrence Howard in Iron Man was a poor choice… came off more a condescending, annoying ‘ally’ than the friend Rhodey is supposed to be. Don Cheadle plays him very well in 2 and 3.
