So all the excitement for us yesterday was the impending release of Diablo 3 but over in America they had another massive release with Max Payne 3 also hitting the store shelves at the very same time.
It will be interesting to compare sales in the coming weeks but for now let’s take a look at how well or badly Max Payne 3 is doing according to the reviews and to see whether Rockstar managed to bring Max back for one last hurrah.

- Game Informer – 9.25/10 (Seriously .25? WTF)
- Gamesradar – 10/10
- Edge – 7/10
- Polygon – 9/10
- Giant Bomb – 4/5
So all in all it’s doing exceptionally well with only Edge giving it a bit of a low score.
Unfortunately we weren’t blessed with a review copy yet so our review isn’t going to be out anytime soon but I did go hands on with this title a little while back and my experience then was very very good.
I’m glad the reviews are currently agreeing with my initial reactions to this game and I for one can’t wait to give the multiplayer a go, and on that note, who out there is going to help us beat g3ar online?
