Sony

Shawn Layden, the President and CEO of Sony America takes the stage at e3 and starts by giving some mind boggling PSN stats. What can the player expect from PSN in the near future?

The PS4 dual shock controller has been pushed over 220 million times since the PS4 was launched. Thats a heck of a lot of button pushing and social media sharing! Gamers will now be able to share their in game moments straight to Youtube. Thats pretty cool for those who want to show off their skills or just simply share some of their favourite gaming moments.

He then goes on to talk about Playstation. Now, a new streaming service that will go into beta in North America and Canada on 31 July. This service will be available on certain Sony televisions too, allowing people to stream certain games on their TV as long as they have a dual shock 3 controller.

Next up is Playstation.Tv, a nifty little device that will probably find its way into many PS4 owners home. The premise is simple. Plug this device into any television that is not your primary PS4 screen, and you can not only stream games from your PS4 to that particular TV, but also stream games from Playstation.Now. The device will cost just $99. There is a bundled version too which will go for $139. It will come with a 8gb memory card, Dual shock controller, as well as a copy of The Lego Movie video game.

That is the question, but if I can stream from my own PS4 that would be awesome!! I have two TV’s and sometimes the wife uses the one where my PS4 is connected and I can’t game till whatever crap she is busy watching finishes!! So I will gladly buy this to stream to the other TV without having to move my PS4 to it!! So yeah count me in again!!
