This year’s E3 dropped a surprise announcement during a Nintendo Direct livestream, as the big N confirmed that there was still plenty of gold to mine from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. No release date was given for the sequel, but one reliable source of information reckons that they’ve got that window roughly pegged.
A monumental game on any level, any new Legend of Zelda title following in the footsteps of Breath of the Wild is going to have the mother of all bars to reach, let alone surpass. So instead of going in that direction, Nintendo is cracking out a sequel that’ll combine even more mad ideas into a brand new adventure.
