I don’t think there’s any entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as divisive as Iron Man 3. Shane Black’s 2013 comic book techno-thriller was a hit both with critics and at the box office, and also a crucial stage in the personal arc of Robert Downey jr.’s Tony Stark. And yet, some fans still hated it. And a lot of …

The drive to reboot the Predator franchise in a more meaningful way is what got director Shane Black sold on the remake.

The 1980s, are clearly alive and well. With numerous properties from the era of terrible music and ozone-depleting deodorants making their way back into the spotlight over the last couple of years, the return of a certain infamous intergalactic hunter may be one of the more tantalising projects on the horizon. The Predator is coming back with Hawkins himself, Shane …

Iron Man is feeling a bit green

One of the many, many suits that Tony Stark has at his disposal, is the Mark XXVI suit of armour. It’s not the first time that this armour has been resized into a sixth-scale replica. But I am liking seeing the same suit, but with a more emerald colour finish. It’s essentially a redo of the Mark XXV Striker armour, but tuned to handle lethal amounts of gamma radiation.

Marvel’s Phase One Collection box-set was a thing of geeky beauty. Unfortunately, it was too big to fit in a Christmas sock, which is the only reason why none of you bought it for me, right? RIGHT?! Well, this Christmas I’ve upgraded from a Christmas sock, to a Christmas Alwynne’s boxer shorts, so trust me, there’s plenty of room for …

How about those Marvel movies lately, huh? They were kind of alright! Good even! Phase 2 started with a bang as Iron Man faced off against the nefarious might of…Trevor, and continued on a mopier Thor, a Captain America movie where Samuel L Jackson wasn’t the baddest mother-lover around and an awesome mix that hit all the right notes. Now …
