Welcome once again to the month of October, where we get to talk about all things spooky and scary in cinema! To kick off this year’s run of Halloween-flavoured Midweek Movie Mouth-Offs, let’s talk about what makes scary movies scary to you.

A lot of movies get a little bit cocky and assume that their franchise is going to carry on. Alas, sometimes the chips just do not fall that way. But, that doesn’t stop movies subtly (or not so subtly) hinting at future films.

As annoying as clickbait titles are, they never seem to go away. So if movies had to rely on a clickbait title to sell themselves, what would that title be? I want to hear your best ideas!

There are plenty of movies which already had the perfect ending, and if the camera kept rolling for an extra minute or two, the whole movie would have been ruined.
