Early reports of Call of Duty 5 are saying that while the game still looks great and plays similarly to COD4, it just isn't quite as good. To be honest, I really couldn't care less. The reason is simply because this game also has 4 player cooperative play. It was easily the biggest element missing from COD4. In this day and age of online play, sitting in a massive battle all by yourself just doesn't cut it anymore. From the video it is obvious to see that COD5 is still looking really good and if the co-operative works without any online issues, I can't see any reason to not play through this game a couple of times at least, with a couple of buddies by my side.

Ubisoft are one of the biggest and most succesful gaming megatrons in the industry and as such it is interesting to see where they are making their money as I think it is a key indicator of where the makers of the Tom Clancy series are going to be focussing their future development. Capcom have confirmed to IGN that Street Fighter IV will be releasing this winter (our summer). What it is interesting is that the PC version is only going to be released after the console version. Now, is this only because they will need to port it over to the PC (Don't they have a "export from Xbox 360 to PC" button?), or is it because they are pulling an EndWar maneuver and releasing it later to avoid piracy. We have no confirmation as yet but will follow up when we hear more.

Ok, so I made those first two names up. The news is however true, EA's Frank Gibeau told Variety that EA is planning sequels to all Battlefield: Bad Company, Army of Two and Dead Space. Whether or not Army of Two's sequel will actually look at implementing more playable characters is still a mystery and on that same note, some 4 player co-op for the next Bad Company wouldn't be bad either. On a side note, Xbox360Fanboy has reported that Dead Space novels and toys are currently being mulled over, so we may see some cool stuff coming soon.

Warning: Not only does this video contain spoilers but it is massively gruesome as well As you all know, Dead Space is going to be released locally this Friday. The game has already been out for nearly a week abroad and someone has put together a death montage video showing the many different ways that you can get incredibly dead. As the warning states above, there are spoilers in this video as well as some hectically violent scenes, so if you are squeamish then I recommend you leave it alone. After watching this video, I started to wonder if canceling my order wouldn't be such a bad idea because I'm not that great with scary games and this ones looks like on hell of a trouser browning device.

Skate 2 is shaping up to be even more of a fantastic game than it's older brother. So, what would Skate be without a few pro skater's to run into (literally). This latest trailer shows clips of each pro skater in the game busting a sweet move and gives us the full roster of the faces that will be in the game. Skate 2 only ships next year but the excitement is already killing me.
