GOG announces re-release of Devotion, only to pull a U-turn hours later

Formerly delisted horror game Devotion is back on sale in Taiwan, now has zero Winnie the Pooh references
The game launched back in February 2019, but it was taken off Steam when it was discovered to contain imagery that Chinese president Xi Jinping found a little distasteful.
Red Candle Games updates on lasting effects of the Devotion incident
Devotion is a survival horror game from Taiwanese developer Red Candle Games. It’s a follow-up to their own hit survival horror Detention, and by all accounts it’s a brilliant, creepy game. When the game was first released, it hit the top of Steam’s charts and was subject to rave user reviews – most of the stemming from China.
