By Geoffrey Tim

Street Fighter IV’s home console iterations have received their first reviews, both “exclusives” coming from Future Publishing’s “Official” Xbox and Playstation magazines. They were positively glowing; The 360 scored 9.5/10 claiming such superlatives as : “Does the impossible: Preserves the past while embracing the future.” “Just about everything else about the game, however, shouldn’t just make Capcom proud, it should …

Street Fighter 4: New Trailer – Anyone Interested?

By Nick De Bruyne
January 12, 2009
in :  Gaming

I actually have a good question, so please leave your answer in the comments section if possible. Does anyone actually care that Street Fighter 4 is coming out? Until quite recently, I really couldn’t be bothered. I mean, sure it’s the sequel to one of the most classic franchises in videogaming history but does that actually count for anything these …

Major Nelson has also revealed the latest Xbox Live Statistics for the last week and you can see that the dodgy matchmaking ability of Gears of War 2 is starting to take it’s toll on the game. Gears 2 is down to 4th on the list and will continue to drop unless Epic wakes up to the fact that people …

Believe it or not, some of the developers of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix *breathe* read our 1 Minute Madness review of their game and decided to drop us an email. Larry Oji, the Assistant Soundtrack Director for the title was kind enough to let us in on the fact that the entire soundtrack was fan-made and can …

1 Minute Madness is a new initiative from Lazygamer.co.za that gives you, the reader, a no-bull****, straight to the point mini-review of a game that may not have been able to warrant a full review (or we are just too swamped). The idea is to create a review that explains every basic aspect of the game and give you a …

New Street Fighter movie possibly worse than the first? Photos Leaked.

By Nick De Bruyne

Why, oh why can movie makers not just make a straightforward movie. Why is this next Street Fighter all about Chun-Li and the apparent legend that she is. Did anyone ever watch The Quest ? Even though it starred Jean-Claude Van Damme, it was a pretty straightforward movie about a fighting tournament with different fighters from all over the world …

Street Fighter Sackboys coming to Little Big Planet

By Gareth

in :  Gaming

Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, and Zangief have been given the Sackboy treatment, well in the above image anyway as these costumes have yet to actually be confirmed by Media Molecule, Capcom or Sony. RipTen found them on a Spanish PlayStation community site. As such, there’s no word on when they’ll be released, and how much they might cost. Last Updated: December …

Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (*Breathe*) Available on XBLA

By Nick De Bruyne

SF2THDR... That's quite a combination of letters and numbers. The good news is that the new HD version of the classic Street Fighter 2 Turbo finally became available yesterday on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN. I posted up a video of the gameplay for anyone interested who wants to check out the new look but it is easy to see that it is still exactly the same game as it was before. Is that a bad thing? I really don't think so and the fact that they went through all of the effort to convert every frame and background into glorious HD is awesome to say the least. I wanted to download the demo but when I saw that the game clocked in at around 370MB I decided to take a raincheck (It's "end of the month salty crack snack" for my cap).
