We here at Lazygamer don’t agree with treating women as objects or using sex to sell games. No really we don’t. I am only posting this video to show you what it looks like inside Leipzig and if you could look around all the gorgeous women you may be able to see a stand or console… or something.. there has …

New Xbox Live Dashboard Update Video

By Nick De Bruyne

A new video has been made available from PAX of a dashboard walkthrough done by none other than Major Nelson. The new video is about as shaky as Cloverfield and The Blair With Project put together but its decent enough that you can see what's happening without any issues. He covers a whole bunch of the new features, from the ability to preview themes to the new party mode and avatars. I am getting really excited to get my hands on the new dashboard and all of its new features. All we know is that Fall (our Spring) cannot get here quick enough.

Mirror’s Edge – Alternate Paths

Mirror’s Edge is another one of those titles that is getting a lot of media attention and interest at these conventions and PAX is no exception. However I hope that this video is just showing badly on my machine and the actual game is not as jerky and disorientating as this. And how is the balancing going to work on …

LBP is Solid Snake!

By Gavin Mannion

I really wish I had even half the talent of these graphics guys, the latest LBP trailer is actually a fan video showing there devotion for a character that hasn’t been released yet. Sackboy > Solid Snake and could quite happily take over the lead position in the Sony Empire. [Thanks flameboy for the tip] Last Updated: September 1, 2008

Tomb Raider: Animal Cruelty Trailer

By Nick De Bruyne

The new Tomb Raider is looking really gorgeous and if the last title is anything to go by then we can officially say that the Tomb Raider series is looking good once again. In this trailer that will probably be frowned upon by Animal Anti-Cruelty as well as a couple of Hippies, we get to see Lara laying down the "pwnage" on some poor Tigers that were probably suffering from starvation and just needed some food to survive. There is of course the thought that the tigers may be controlled by the bad guys, but that's just silly because I don't know about you but I didn't see any lasers strapped to their heads.

Dyack Defends Too Human – Again

I have mentioned before that I think people like Denis are great for the industry and we need more characters like him. However that didn’t stop me moaning when Nick mentioned he was once again defending his creation to the world, this time through a Joystiq video interview. The first part is above and you can click through to listen …

Here They Come! – New Left 4 Dead Trailer

By Nick De Bruyne
August 28, 2008
in :  Gaming

Holy Crap! I don't know if this trailer is trying to make me want this game more or less cause it looks so insanely hectic. I am getting rather tired of saying that I can't wait for a title to come out, but the truth is that there are just so many great games coming out at the end of this year and getting me excited and this is most definitely one of them. This new trailer for Left 4 Dead gives a great indication of the incredibly stressful situations that this game is going to put players in and it looks like it's going to be nothing but pure unadulterated zombie-killing fun. They had better not screw up the netcode with this one because I want to spend a lot of time playing co-op and it had better work without any issues because if there is anything that I need in this world, it's my zombie-mashing fix. Here They Come! Bring it.

Zero Punctuation: Braid

By Gavin Mannion

This week Yahtzee reviews Braid, that game that everyone loves but I wasn’t over enamoured with. Yes it’s clever and fun but I just don’t think it’s as great as certain people make it out to be and you know what… Yahtzee agrees with me. Which obviously means I am right and can now go home and delete it off …
