Are you an ardent player of the both critically and commercially successful Halo-themed real time strategy game? Have you spent hours playing, trying to get to the top of the leaderboards? I’m afraid I have some bad news for you, as Robot entertainment have confirmed that technical issue has resulted in the leaderboards – including all single player, multiplayer and …

Twitter arriving on the Xbox 360 before Christmas – That horrible social networking site as well

By Gavin Mannion

I’m not entirely sure that I am happy about Twitter arriving on the Xbox 360 at all, I am already bombarded through so many virtual channels all day long that they idea of random strangers being able to bug me while I am gaming doesn’t sit incredibly well with me. However I do enjoy Twitter so I am interested to …

Gears of War 2 Gets Whole Week Of Double XP Goodness – Private Games Too

By Nick De Bruyne

in :  Gaming

Update: It has come to my attention [Thanks Poddle, Tracy] that XP will only be given out for private Horde sessions and not all private modes as previously stated. Dammit, that means that anyone who wants to shoot other people for XP will just have to deal with the lag. For just a moment I am going to ignore the …

Splinter Cell Conviction Delayed – We know why

Okay I’ll admit that the headline is a lie*, not the fact that Splinter Cell Conviction is delayed but that we know why. I do however have some theories which are based on very little fact but lots of conjecture. All we know for sure so far is that we aren’t going to be seeing Sam until early next year …

Info & News: The Force Has Been Unleashed Even More

By Faheem

That's right Jedi Apprentices, LucasArts have confirmed that the Star Wars Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition will be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 by Christmas. The title will include the full version of the original game as well as three new levels and a full alternate story. Apparently two of the levels will be available as DLC whilst the other is exclusive to the Ultimate Sith Edition. Basically the alternate story follows Star Killer killing Darth Vader and becoming the Emperor's new Apprentice. Players will have to then visit planets like Tatooine, Coruscant and even the icy landscapes of Hoth to take on the legendary Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jabba The Hutt and even Boba Fett (the bounty hunter who was used to create the clone army). The best part of all is that there is another alternate story in this one that will send players on a mission to destroy the Rebellion and face Luke Skywalker. The original version has sold over six million copies since its release in September last year and has since been hailed as the fastest selling Star Wars game ever. Thus its understandable why Aspyr Media and LucasArts are also bringing the game to both PC and Apple Mac. I thoroughly enjoyed Force Unleashed especially for the story (yeah I'm a bit of a fanboy). I did however think that the action was a little too watered down and never quite felt the full force capability of Star Killer. It was still awesome though and I'm so getting this new edition. Until then (oh man I'm gonna say it) may the force be with you. Sorry but I couldn't help myself to some cheese.

Start Getting Excited – Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Trailer Revealed

By Nick De Bruyne

MW2multiplayerAC130.jpg Knowing that the next Modern Warfare game was simply just "on the way" seems to have had an effect on my actual excitement for the game. It took looking at this newly revealed multiplayer trailer from Infinity Ward to remind me that I am in fact incredibly excited for this game and it's release date needs to get here faster. This specific trailer shows off a new multiplayer element that comes in the form of the AC130 Big-Ass-Mofo-Plane that can now be controlled by players to rain down some serious death from above. Check out the awesome-ness, posted after the jump. Be sure to catch the last little part of the trailer, it's a nice little humorous touch. [Thanks Poddle for the tip]

Gameplay Footage for Dante's Inferno

dantesinferno.jpg Apparently, 1UP brought back this video of the gameplay from Dante's Inferno after their visit to Comic-con. Visceral Games looks to have developed something really nice here. It looks pretty good but I question whether or not they're copying God Of War a little - ah screw it... I loved the GoW games and can't wait for the third installment so anything else that will keep me slashing things apart in a similar style will just put a smile on my face. Now go check out the video and let us know what you think. Go.. go now.
