N’Gai Croal, a journalist over at Newsweek, has just confirmed via Twitter that Peggle for the Xbox Live Arcade is going to be landing in mid March. Apparently according to his tweet “PopCap’s Greg Canessa is sitting in my office, showing me Peggle for Xbox 360, coming in mid-March.” I played the PC version to death and if the rumours …

So the Live Chart for Jan 09 has arrived (see list below) and it’s no surprise that the Call of Duty games are still dominating in a big way. Not only is World at War sitting on the top of the list, but it’s older brother Modern Warfare is still in 3rd place and even ahead of Gears of War …

It’s about time that a site like this popped up. Ever since the NXE dashboard update came out for the Xbox 360, none of us have been able to properly preview any of the new premium themes before forking out 250 MS points to download them. Well, now it’s as easy as visiting www.nxethemes.com and browsing around for a theme …

This intriguing image and rather different take on Zombie Apocalypse made it’s way onto Digg.com early this morning with the title “Left 4 Dead”. After doing some research I found out that the image actually has nothing to do with Left 4 Dead at all. It did however dawn on me that this image is a perfect example of what …

New on XBLA this week: The Maw and FunTown Mahjong

By Karl

The Maw and FunTown Mahjong have both debuted on XBLA today costing 800 MS Points a piece. In my opinion any game with ‘fun’ and ‘mahjong’ in the same sentence is a contradictory statement, you can only have fun or mahjong, never both. The Maw is the interesting release. It is a rather attractive action-platformer developed by Twisted Pixel Games, …

25% More PS3 Gamers Go Online

By Nick De Bruyne
January 12, 2009
in :  Gaming

An interesting article from Gamezine.co.uk popped up that states that according to the numbers released by both Sony and Microsoft about the number of active accounts on their online platforms, the PS3 actually has a higher percentage of users online than the Xbox 360 and it got me thinking about Microsoft’s decision to keep charging for gold memberships. The percentages …

Believe it or not, some of the developers of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix *breathe* read our 1 Minute Madness review of their game and decided to drop us an email. Larry Oji, the Assistant Soundtrack Director for the title was kind enough to let us in on the fact that the entire soundtrack was fan-made and can …

Microsoft XBL Christmas Crash – Will it happen again?

By Nick De Bruyne
December 11, 2008
in :  Gaming

Hopefully not. It seems that Microsoft have taken a lot of steps to ensure that last year’s crash doesn’t happen again. With the price of consoles dropping, the release of the NXE as well as the upcoming holiday period, Live is set to take a ton of weight onto its shoulders but Microsoft say that they are prepared. Microsoft’s Aaron …
