By Gavin Mannion

The MAG Beta is currently underway and as usual someone has decided to leak some gameplay footage. First impressions are that the game looks awesome and the lag seems incredibly good. The sniper section in the beginning is pretty boring from all aspects apart from seeing how well MAG and the PSN are handling the lag in such a large …

We all love gaming and we all love exercising so why not combine the two into something truly remarkable? Well generally because I lied when I said we all love exercising and I doubt many people want to physically run around while playing Call of Duty. But if you are one of the few who do want to do this …

Along with various other additions and improvements, Sony have announced that the new 2.50 Firmware for the Playstation 3 is going to add support for Flash 9. Welcome to a world of Youtube, Flash games and tons of annoying adverts! But seriously, this is going to be a fantastic addition, especially with the fact that Sony has now officially launched a YouTube channel specifically for the PS3. A list of additional improvements, after the jump. * Pads and the PS3 itself now have tweakable power-save settings for turning off after a period of inactivity. * You can tell the PS3 to power down once it's finished downloading or installing content. * In-game screenshots can be taken in compatible games. * It enables high-quality mode for the official PS3 Bluetooth headset. * The Trophy interface has been improved, so you can see you and your friends' progress more easily. * Friends now have their last login time listed. * Videos now have a scene search feature. * There's a button on the PlayStation Store frontpage for redeeming codes.

Believe it or not, South Africans can be creative too. A few lucky local residents have been able to get their hands on an LBP beta key and have been having a whole lot of fun without us. While the creator of this level needed some coaxing (almost bordering on blackmail and assault), he finally agreed to let me put one of his levels up on our site. You may be used to those Americans who will either make a level that can do you taxes, or a level that teaches children about how babies are made, but this is none of that nonsense. Just some good old fun that also includes a skateboard and a big ramp. If you are from South Africa and have made a groovy LBP map, send us the link and we will try and get it up as well!

Earlier this month Nick reported on a Gamestop ex-employee that decided that he had had enough of the internal politics and non-transparency of what really goes on behind the scenes at Gamestop. The ex-Gamestop employee know as “whistleblowerzero” created  a series of videos in the same style as the Yahtzee Zero Punctuation reviews to expose the retailer and the terrible …
