Ok, lets get through the necessary disclaimer: Olympus Has Fallen is the film from Training Day director Antoine Fuqua which sees Gerard Butler as a Secret Service agent trying to save US President Aaron Eckhart from a terrorist attack on the White House.

That’s not the film we’re featuring today. I know the whole different titles thing should have been a dead giveaway, but we just need to be clear.

The film we’re featuring today is White House Down, by Independence Day helmer Roland Emmrich and sees Channing Tatum as a Secret Service agent trying to save US President Jamie Foxx from a terrorist attack on the Whi- This isn’t helping is it? Ah, screw it, just look at the pictures.

Man of the hour, Charming Potato (remember that monniker and you’ll never again accidentally swap his first and last name around), seems to be channeling his inner Bruce Willis here, complete with dirty, white vest (and bespectacled black side-kick). Throw in a receding hairline and a slightly psychotic glint in his eye, and Channing Tatum might just officially have become the new John McCl—– Ha ha, I’m sorry. I just couldn’t keep a straight face any longer.

White House Down is set for international release on June 28, 2013.
