One of the animated movies that I’m looking forward to most this year, has to be Dreamworks’ Rise of the Guardians. Besides for the magical trailer though, there hasn’t been that much of a marketing drive behind it.This is a bit baffling as this tale is essentially the Fairy Tale version of The Avengers!
I guess there’s just not that much market appeal to kids for a tattooed Russian Santa Claus driving a rocket-powered sled. Who would’ve thought, hey?
But if that’s the kind of thing that catches your attention, then click on through so that the Guardians can introduce themselves.
Synopsis:
Based on William Joyce’s children’s book, “Rise of the Guardians” is an epic and magical adventure that tells the story of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, and Jack Frost – legendary characters with previously unknown extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children everywhere.

I’ve never heard of it either? Usually these big budget animations get a lot more marketing.
