The developers from Codemasters have given a very frank interview about the upcoming release of DiRT on the PS3.

They claim the PS3 version is much better than either the Xbox 360 or PC version. It has better graphics and sound and generally plays better.

Personally he sounds a little bit like a fanboy but maybe that is just me. I am now really looking forward to the head to head of these two games as it is about time the PS3 beat the 360 in a game.

He did not mention any motion control and we know it won’t have force feedback so lets wait and see what happens.

I dont know if that will work out though, even on the X360 with many racers on screen at once there is a frame drop. This game is really graphically intensive and with the PS3’s reduced RAM availability it would be a miracle to be better than the X360 version.

Unless they cut down on the textures & graphical content though. Demo please.
