More PC/PS3 Skyrim news coming soon

2 min read

On Friday we posted up that the PS3 and PC versions of Dawnguard may not actually be making an appearance and you exploded in the comments, so it’s with great pleasure that I can now report that Bethesda are back tracking slightly on their previous tweets and that more information is coming soon.

No really it’s not going to get more detailed than that, after saying last week that

We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I’d tell you.

The Internet exploded and pointed to Microsoft’s press release earlier this year that stated Dawnguard will be a Xbox 360 exclusive for 30 days before making an appearance on other platforms.

Granted Bethesda never made that statement but you would think they would have said something then if that wasn’t going to be the case.

However there is now some light at the end of this tunnel with Pete Hines tweeting yesterday

@eldarmark Just sit tight. We’ll have info soon.

Why Bethesda are struggling to give solid answers to this very easy question is a worry but if you are a PC or PS3 Skyrim gamer then sit tight, I’m sure the new info will be good info.
