The fire in your bank account rises with this Dark Knight trilogy boxset

Christmas will be here soon, and while I most likely won’t get that small gift that I’ve been wanting, such as a Yamaha TMax 500 motorcycle, I’d be more than happy to stuff some Blu-Rays down my stocking as well.

The end of the year normally has plenty such offerings, and a certain caped crusader will also be dropping Saint Nick from a rooftop, when his special editions arrive in time for the festive season.

Comicbookmovie got the images for the upcoming UK release of The Dark Knight Rises on DVD and Blu-Ray, as well as a Dark Knight trilogy boxset, which will be out in December on that side.

The trilogy boxset contains all three Christopher Nolan directed films, an art book and comes with a special broken cowl display for your TV, for those moments when you put an empty coffee mug up against your mouth and recite some of Bane’s lines.

And most likely a heap of extra documentaries, trailers, directors commentary and other production notes, if you shell out extra for the deluxe editions.

So there you have it folks. Go buy me my Christmas gift already, dammit!

That will be a boxset worth having. But I don’t see the point of the extra gimmicks, like the display or the art book.

YES. Been holding off buying the blu-rays just in case a trilogy set was released.

This is the main reason why I currently don’t have any of the films as Blu Rays in my collection.
