MAN OF STEELAt this stage, Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated Superman reboot has been less Man of Steel, and more Man of Giving Everything Away. You would think that after about a googolplex (that’s a real number) of TV spots, that there just wouldn’t be anything left to see and hear, but you would be wrong as a whole lot more super goodies just got released.

Plus, Snyder spills the beans on what superhero film he’s possibly like to tackle next.

While in an interview over at Collider, Snyder was asked about all the rumours that if Man of Steel was a success (and right now, it’s hard to think it won’t be) then he would take over the directorial reins on WB/DC Comics’ own superhero team-up movie, Justice League.  But Snyder seems to think that there’s some more super-business that he would need to attend to first.

“Look … completely hypothetically, I feel like you need … to get Superman a little further down the road, I think, before you can do a Justice League movie.”

He also didn’t appear to put any stock in the initial reports that Justice League was scheduled for 2015. So when asked if this all meant that he and WB would like to do a Man of Steel sequel first before tackling Justice League, he simply repeated himself.

“I don’t know.  All I’m saying is that you’ve got to get Superman further down the road.”

So while we may not have any clear answers about that, what we do have is a new 13-minute long featurette that gives us not only glimpses of new footage of the film, but also takes us behind the scenes to show some on set footage, as well as elaborating on how this reboot came about.

We also have 47, yes 47 new hi-res images for the film (courtesy of Collider) which have just been released. Some pics you may have seen previously, though not as detailed (viva lo-resolution!), and some give a new glimpse on set with Snyder and his cast.

Man of Steel flies into international cinemas on June 14, 2013 before leaping local cinemas in a single bound on June 28, 2013.
