Check out a new look for 2014's GODZILLA

We’ve only seen a scale or a tail here or there of the new Godzilla, and with the release date for Gareth Edward’s Kaiju flick quickly approaching, that mystery is starting to get a bit too tempting. We’ve already seen one image of ol’ Gojirra that we had to take down.

Here’s another one that seems to be circulating the net at the moment. Don’t click through if you don’t want to see a spoiler-sized monster.

It wouldn’t be a Godzilla film without some promotional merch up for sale, and that’s just what the kids will be asking you for when the Godzilla: With Light and Sound! figure pops up in bookelts. If this is the final design that Edwards is going for with his Godzilla movie…then I’m digging it plenty.

It’s a great mix of classic Godzillas, and it looks as menacing as can be for the king of the Kaiju. The film is out next year May 16. If we get threatened with a takedown for that image, then feast your eyes on the replacement image I whipped up with my supreme skill in Paint.
