We’ve just about reached the halfway mark of 2014, so today we would like to know what your year in movies has been like so far. What lived up to all the hype? What exceeded expectations? What fell short of the mark? And what was so bad that you’re not actually reading this since you’ve been stuck in therapy ever since walking out of the cinema?

And in case you were wondering, for me personally, EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!

  1. How to train your Dragon 2 blew my expectations like a White House intern. Also really enjoyed Edge of Tomorrow. I think I was most disappointed by A million ways to die in the west. Was hoping for a Ted and got a Dumber and Retarded instead.

Snowpiercer exceeded my expectations, really impressed with it. I could only watch the first 20 odd minutes of the Lego movie – it just didn’t do it for me.

DoFP lived up to the hype and so much more! The Lego Movie was indeed awesome, and I really enjoyed the winter soldier. I avoided the films like a million ways to die in the west, since it looked average from the trailers (plus it’s the family guy guy…), so I haven’t seen a bad movie this year, I think… although ASM2 was ok…
