Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles raises shell this weekend (Not here though), and by all accounts it sounds like a decent, if hardly special, kind of movie. I’m still a touch creeped out by the new Turtle designs, with Michelangelo and his perfect teeth being the main focus of that chill I feel down the base of my spine. Here’s a bunch of new images for the film, to show you what I mean.
Holy crap Splinter, you really do like your Wu Tang Clan music, don’t you? Also, Raphael looks like he could bench-press an entire floor of weightlifters who dig staring at their muscles in the gym mirrors. Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner and the voices of Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub. Jonathan Liebesman directs. The film is out locally on September 19.

Mikey has gone from a thing of awesome, to a thing of childrens nightmares…

Like I was telling Darryn earlier, the problem is that while everybody else look like turtles that got some human features, Mikey looks a man (with an acute resemblance to Jacob Zuma) who’s developed some turtle features. And the results are creepy as hell.

Great…Zuma…now it can’t be unseen. Well at least he uses protection (the shell…get it…snicker, snicker)
