Remember when people were totally upset about Gal Gadot’s casting as Wonder Woman? Well, actually that’s still happening right now, because frankly, the Internet can often be a broiling cesspool of hatred and ignorance. But there’s no denying that the Israeli-born model turned actress won over a fair amount of haters with her brief, but still pretty cool stint in Batman v Superman. And “a fair amount” more than likely became a whole fanboy army when that fantastic Comic-Con trailer for the Wonder Woman solo film dropped earlier in the year.

And now we have another trailer! And will this latest preview continue the upward swing in sentiment? Hell, freaking yes! In the two-and-a-half-minute new preview, we get more thorough look at the Amazonian paradise of Themiscyra, we see how Wonder Woman first meets Chris Pine’s WWI soldier Steve Trevor and subsequently how she gets involved in the war. Oh and a whole heap of really badass and – and I must stress this in light of the thus far very grim DC Comics movie universe – colourful action directed with style by Patty Jenkins.

Check it out below.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Along with the trailer, we also have three kick-ass new posters, each one labelled with a different one of Wonder Woman’s characteristics.

Wonder Woman also stars Robin Wright , Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, Connie Nielsen and Lucy Davis. It is scheduled for release June 2, 2017. Gadot will then  be seen as Wonder Woman again alongside Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which opens on November 17, 2017.
