Ubisoft have recently released their latest financial results and at the same time have confirmed Splinter Cell Convictions release block.
OXM are also claiming that this confirms the existence of Splinter Cell Conviction but unless I missed something we all knew it existed anyway.
Ubisoft’s CEO had this to say
“The results of these efforts will be seen as early as this Christmas with one of the industry’s most ambitious games line-ups which will include Assassin’s Creed 2, James Cameron’s Avatar, [and] Splinter Cell Conviction,â€
Which doesn’t specify that Splinter Cell will make it in before Christmas but unless the game is gimped in some way I don’t see why they would avoid the lucrative holiday period.

I would release in March…
After the Xmas Crazyness and people’s budgets is just recovering after the holidays.
Also a lot less competition…

One of the reasons I’ve held on to my xbox is Splinter cell.
Will it still be exclusive? What with the PS3 generating the bulk of Ubisofts sales.
