Fury

Wow! The time has flown! It’s been a week since we let you fine people know about a fantastic competition and now that the deadline has come and gone and the competition has officially closed. I’ll be emailing those who made it (some by the skin of their teeth, I say!) today and look forward to spending a fun and exciting evening with them!

Just a reminder of the competition below.

The movie officially opens locally on 30 January 2015, but we’ll be hosting a pre-release screening on TUESDAY 27 January 2015 at 20:00 at both Canal Walk Cine 13 in Cape Town and Johannesburg’s Hydepark Cine 5, so you will be of the first people in the country to experience it!

Fury was written and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, Training Day) and stars Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Peña, Jon Bernthal and Jason Isaacs. Here’s the trailer and synopsis:

In April 1945, the Allies are making their final push in the European theater. A battle-hardened Army sergeant named Don “Wardaddy” Collier (Brad Pitt), leading a Sherman tank and a five-man crew, undertakes a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Hopelessly outnumbered, outgunned and saddled with an inexperienced soldier (Logan Lerman) in their midst, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds as they move to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

Once again, thanks to SONY Entertainment and Times Media Films for this opportunity.
