Deadpool is here to tell you all about the trailer for DEADPOOL

2 min read

Ordinarily, we don’t make any efforts here to post teasers about upcoming trailers, which are nothing but slightly elongated teasers when you think about it. We don’t need to feed into that marketing hype, not at all.

And then you get the kind of film which just gets its source material. Like Deadpool. So far, Deadpool has been particularly open so far, offering plenty of teases, behind the scenes action and Ryan Reynolds suited up and breaking the fourth wall in numerous gags.

Director Tim Miller clearly understands this, with a short teaser hyping up the upcoming trailer that’ll be out later today. And yes, the teaser does make a reference to the fact that Deadpool had his f***ing mouth sewn up in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

We’ll have the full trailer up as soon as it goes live. Or as soon we figure out how to smoke a pipe through a mask. Either or dammit. Deadpool also stars Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Gina Carano, T.J. Miller, andEd Skrein. It’ll be busting heads on February 12 2016.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
