In what looks to be a cross between the Matrix and the Hunger Games, Summit Entertainment has released a new trailer for the upcoming movie Divergent, part one of a trilogy. Working heavily on the use of ‘ent/ant’ as a start (part two and three are called Insurgent and Allegiant respectively) the story is set in a dystopia where people are separated into 5 categories dependant on their personality, because this hasn’t been done in Harry Potter or anything.
Staring Shailene Woodley as Beatrice ‘Tris’ Prior, someone who defies categorisation, the story follows her discovery that there is a conspiracy to kill all Divergents and why they are so dangerous. Have a look at the rather awesome trailer but be warned, it looks like one of those ‘we show the whole movie here’ trailers!
In a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities, Tris Prior is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late.
Divergent will be released on 20 March and stars Ashley Judd, Kate Winslet, Ray Stevenson, Jai Courtney, Theo James and Miles Teller.

I’m too old for YA BS. Rather give me kids movies like The Avengers, I’m senile enough to enjoy those.
