The Screen Actors Guild Awards – which, if the name wasn’t a dead giveaway, ditches all the technical stuff and focuses on the performances of actors/actresses, as voted for by their acting peers – took place last night. As one of the last major awards show before the big daddy of them all, the Oscars, the SAG’s are always a pretty good indicator for Hollywood’s premier awards night, and if last night’s picks are to be trusted then it looks like Ben Affleck’s mantlepiece is about to get even more crowded.
