We’re all out of superhero movies for the year now that Ant-Man has opened up, but 2016 is kicking off a bumper season of spandex and tights. Alongside Batman V Superman, Suicide Squad and others, there may be the biggest Marvel movie to date in Avengers 2.5 AKA Captain America: Civil War.
It’s a film which includes a stunningly massive cast of characters, including one particular appearance by Wakandan royalty, the Black Panther. Chadwick Boseman will play that character in Cap 3, as well as in a solo Black Panther flick in 2017. So what does he look like in action then?
Well, let’s take a look at the Black Panther’s stunt double in these pics from Meyerfotos for answers! Or until Mickey Mouse gives us a takedown notice. Either or:

I’m going to assume that there’s a lot more to the costume than we’re seeing here in these grainy pics. I’d guess that the suit has a lot more texture which will make it pop better on the big screen, while the mask itself is a more practical helmet. I’m also liking the silver accents on this costume, and it lines up well with the concept art for the character we’ve previously seen.
Captain America: Civil War is out on May 6 next year. Alongside Boswick and star Chris Evans, the flick also stars (deep breath) Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, William Hurt, Martin Freeman, Don Cheadle, Emily VanCamp, and Frank Grillo.
The Russo Brothers direct that small army.
