Hilariously bad He-Man: Masters of the Universe fan film has to be seen to be believed

I’ve been posting a lot of short films around here lately, mostly because they’ve been, well, pretty good. But I guess it’s time to return some balance to the force.

While most fan films fall just short of the mark, I don’t think this He-Man: Masters of the Universe fan film from Daniele Spadoni Regista even knows what the mark is. That is, unless said mark happens to be making an Ed Woodsian fantasy film that is part inadvertent slapstick, part stuff of nightmares.

Now, there’s not much more that can be done about a film as bad as that one, except to have a hearty laugh at its failings, but as the Flying Spaghetti Monster is my witness, I swear that CGI He-Man is going to provide me with enough nightmare fuel for the rest of my life. His clayfaced, unblinking visage now rules over the Uncanny Valley with an iron but strangely inanimate fist.

Thanks to Geek Tyrant for the heads up.

Is that He-Man on the right in the pic above? He looks like my friend Farouk from Belgravia.

That’s supposed to be his Prince Adam alter ego. Or something. I think I may have blanked out the memory, since it was so bad.

By the Power of Grayskull… Never been so glad they blocked youtube access here.  Just judging by that picture alone…

Please… rather just leave Prince Adam with his purple tights and pink jacket than this friggin abomination…

Does that man have no respect for other people’s childhood?
