Hollywood, the kind of control you’re attempting simply is… it’s not possible. If there is one thing the history of evolution has taught us, it’s that sequels will not be contained. Sequels breaks free, it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously, but, uh… well, there it is.

What I’m simply saying is that Jurassic Park sequels… finds a way.

Yep, looks like ol’ Jurassic Park has not Jurass-has-had-it (Thank you Mad Magazine), as the formerly extinct on and off again project is once again headed back to the big screen. Spotted by Coming Soon at the 2013 Licensing Expo in sin city itself, Las Vegas, it looks like the prehistoric attraction is now aiming for a 2015 release.

And in 3D! That’s according to word at the expo, which says that the film will be shot in native 3D format. Better than a conversion, at least. And all of this is hopefully good news for director Colin Trevorrow, for the fourth film in the franchise which has had one rocky road so far, paved with several extinction level events.

  1. I hope this is a new Jurassic park and not simply Jurassic Park 1 being re-released in a 3D version. I have been waiting years for a new JP.
