Holy dying medium Batman! Check out the ultimate Dark Knight trilogy Collector's Edition

1 min read

It’s tough to argue with the results of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. Massive, ambitious and roughly 66% decent, the influence felt from that trilogy will be around for many more years to come, as superhero films were made to grow up.

It’s also a great trilogy to own on Blu-Ray then, thanks to some fantastic IMAX camera work by Nolan, cinematographer Wally Pfister and the rest of the crew involved. And if you’re looking to still do that, then this collector’s edition might appeal to you.

Polish website Batcave got their hands on the images below, and while Warner Bros has yet to confirm if they’re legit or not, they do look rather decent. It looks like the collection will ship in a slipcase edition, with the films and extras arriving on nine discs.

Also included, a few books and what appears to be some kickass replicas of the various bat-vehicles. It’s rumoured to be out in October this year. What do you think? A good Christmas gift idea? Nudge nudge, wink wink.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
