Ice Cube and Charlie Day go toe to toe in the hilarious looking comedy, Fist Fight. Brought to you by director Richie Keen and script writers, Evan Susser and Van Robichaux, the story follows Charlie’s character, a timid high school teacher that gets challenged to a fist fight by his much tougher and way more intimidating colleague (Cube). Christina Hendricks plays a school drama teacher that is romantically linked to Cube’s character.

Here’s what director Keen had to say about the project:

The truth of the matter is at this public high school on a very chaotic day, neither of their philosophies are working. And this fight becomes a bigger metaphor for the system and things needing to change.

You can watch all the action in this trailer below.

Now I don’t know about the rest of you but after seeing this trailer, Fist Fight has shot to the top of my must see comedies. Cube looks as menacing as ever and I cannot wait to see Charlie Day squirm around on-screen, screaming off funny rants the way only he can. It’s also nice to see the return to making movies by funny man Tracy Morgan, who has taken a long break from performing since a car accident in 2014.

The release date for Fist Fight has been set for February 17, 2017.
