It's IRON MAN 3, WORLD WAR Z and THE LONE RANGER in these all new TV spots

Y’know, we could have made this three separate posts and enjoyed some link-bait hits, but because we love you guys, we’re wrapping up some short trailers for upcoming films in one post instead. Also, Kervyn wanted to add them all in for his Extras post, but seeing him red-faced before he breaks out some of his Klingon weaponry is always a treat for me.

Iron Man 3

First up, seeing as how Disney and Marvel have already released most of Iron Man 3 in bite-sized increments, comes the next piece of the advent calendar film. Movie editors, get busy on splicing this into the rest of the movie that has been shown already.

World War Z

Next up, I spy with my little eye is boring, zombies are bad, humans have the same herding instinct as ants and using snippets of footage that was already seen in the full trailer makes for an easy TV advert in World War Z.

The Lone Ranger

And last, but certainly not least, is the popcorn munching flick that I’m looking forward to the most this year, and that’s coming from a comic book nerd in the year of our spandexed lord, Superman. Director Gore Verbinski made one hell of a western flick already in the form of the CGI caper Rango, and I’ve got high hopes that he can put his pirate magic to good use here in the Lone Ranger. That film stars Johnny Depp as Tonto, with Helena Bonham Carter sans Tim Burton (Who will remake this movie anyway), om Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale and Ruth Wilson.

Oh, and Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
