Jon Favreau touches people's lives (and their stomachs) in this trailer for CHEF

Hey, it’s an Iron Man 2 reunion! Only this time Jon Favreau, Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson aren’t teaming up to fight dodgy accented Russian villains and bloated plots, but rather hunger. And that’s the hunger for creativity, as well as the hunger for a really good steak.

Chef sees Favreau write, direct and star in this lighthearted but full stomached comedy about a chef who learns to follow his dreams and do what he truly loves, when life drops a fly in his soup. The first trailer for the film has dropped, but before you check it out, a word of caution: I would highly advise you get some napkins ready just in case of drooling, as this trailer is just stuffed with food porn.

A chef who loses his restaurant job starts up a food truck in an effort to reclaim his creative promise, while piecing back together his estranged family.

And now I am in serious need of a good, rare ribeye steak in my life. Damn you, Jon Favreau.

Also starring John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, Sofia Vergara and Dustin Hoffman, Chef will be cooking up cinemas on May 9, 2014
