KUNG FU PANDA 3 gets a release date and some Breaking Bad stars

Yes, I dig films that are actually meant for people who are six months younger than me. One of them being, Kung Fu Panda. Now, ignore the fact that I’m wearing a Tenacious D tshirt, and focus on the fact that the first Kung Fu Panda was a fresh piece of entertainment that really benefited from using a CGI version of Jack Black if he was a furry.

The second film? Just as good, but not better. So naturally, Dreamworks is looking to cap the bodacity of that animal kung-fu series with a trilogy-ender. And it’s a film that will have a drug chemist, Hannibal Lecter and a bridesmaid voicing some new characters.

Now scheduled for a release date of December 23, 2015, Kung Fu Panda 3 has added the likes of Bryan “Breaking Bad” Cranston, Mads “Hannibal” Mikkelsen and Rebel “Bridesmaids” Wilson to its line-up of voice actors. Jack Black is a lock to return as the lead, while Seth Rogen, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan and the rest of the original cast will most likely also be following Po on his next adventure. Guessing who those three new voices will be behind should be easy though. Mikkelsen for the villain, Cranston for the father of Po and Wilson for the Panda love interest.

Also, I’m calling it now: Po gets torn between two worlds, quest for acceptance, yadda yadda and choosing whether or not to accept his biological father or the duck who raised him as his own son. Kung Fu Panda 3 also sees Jennifer Yuh Nelson back, as she helmed the first sequel. The first two films have done well so far, making over a billion dollars at the box office and scoring some massive love in China.

Let the booyakasha adventures continue.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
