For 47 years Scooby Doo and his pals have been solving ghostly crimes and entertaining us with a hugely popular series of cartoons as well as a slew of live-action movies. The character was created by Hanna-Barbera, who also created and owns The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, The Jetsons, The Smurfs, Top Cat, Jonny Quest, Wacky Races, Sealab 2020, and plenty of other cartoons – all of which Warner Bros. are now planning on using to create a shared Cinematic Universe.
Not a bad plan if you ask me, as there will certainly be a huge amount of material for the all involved to make some serious cash! This plan is set to kick off with a new Scooby Doo movie entitled S.C.O.O.B., from which point we will start seeing the rest of Hanna-Barbera’s properties being introduced and a whole bunch of crossovers taking place. Now the studio has not elaborated on how these crossovers will work or when we can expect to see some of the other characters from the Hanna-Barbera collection make their debut but I am certain that a live action Jetsons and Wacky Races movie will be a whole lot of fun to create.
Drop your comments below and let us know what your thoughts are on this new planned Cinematic Universe from Warner Bros. S.C.O.O.B. is set for release on September 21, 2018.

I would kill for a Wacky Races movie. I can already see Scarlet Johansen playing Penelope Pitstop. (Cause all female roles now automatically go to her :P)
Ooh a Perils of Penelope Pitstop movie!
