The Warcraft movie is way too far away for many of us – especially after all the cool trailers and TV Spots that have been released for the movie. If you spent your formative years planning the many Warcraft games released over the year, then this is probably one of your most anticipated films of the year. Unfortunately, I can’t make the release day come any sooner – but I can give you some newly released posters to make you hate that fact even more.

One of the things for me that has stood out so far from all the footage released thus far has been the authenticity of the characters and the look that has been brought to the film directed by Duncan Jones. Jones has been promising to tell a story that portrays both the Humans and Orcs in an equal light and not focusing too much on who is the good or bad, but telling the story equally – which I think is great, as it fits into the narrative of the games a lot better. It’s going to be a challenge I’m sure for the team to pull off, but so far everything he has been saying about the film has respectful to the original source material and you can tell the film is being helmed by a huge fan.

And these new posters for the film which have been release only go further to conforming the amount of detail they are putting in to capturing the world. What I also like is that these posters are focused on characters in the movie and not just on epic action scenes or epic landscapes from the world of Azeroth. I’m hoping it reflects the strong character and story focus that has been promised in the film and that it won’t just an action-packed cash-in, but a great story that will appeal to many fans.

The film stars Dominic Cooper, Travis Fimmel, Ben Foster, Bne Schnetzer, Ruth Negga, Toby Kebbel, Rob Kazinsky, Daniel Wu, Clancy Brown, and Paula Patton. Warcraft opens in theaters on June 10th. Which is only 62 painstaking days away – but who’s counting.

A man of many talents, but no sense how to use them. I could be discovering the cure for aids or finding ways to achieve world peace, but I'd rather be watching movies and writing here instead.
