Spider-Man

There were many (myself included) who felt that a third reboot of the Spider-Man character in less than 10 year was perhaps a little bit too much for the move world to handle. However, after the superb introduction the new version of the character got in Captain America: Civil War, the interest for the solo movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, has definitely gone back to sky-high. From being one of the films I was least excited about of their future releases, its now one of those I’m most excited about.

And the good news for fans is that star Tom Holland has announced that the film has wrapped up shooting this past weekend. He revealed the news through his Instagram account:

Our last day on @spidermanhomecoming and this how we are feeling but we got this hahah 😂

So the filming has finished, but expect Marvel and Disney to take their time in post-production and adding special effects to get the film ready for its release next year.

And that’s not all, we also have a host of new set pics from the film, revealed by Comingsoon.net:

They don’t reveal much, but it at least seems Tom Holland is having some fun with all those cables, provided he can stop being interrupted on his cellphone. I also wonder if his suit was actually hard to breathe in, because he seems intent on having it half up in some of these shots.

None of this looks unexpected though and I’m hoping Marvel finally gives the character of Spider-Man the film he deserves.

A man of many talents, but no sense how to use them. I could be discovering the cure for aids or finding ways to achieve world peace, but I'd rather be watching movies and writing here instead.
