It’s been a good year for animated films. Despicable Me 2 has cleaned up nicely at the box office, while Monsters University provided a prequel film that put the rest of Hollywood to shame. One other big hit this year was The Croods, a prehistoric look at the first modern family.

That film made over $583 million worldwide, and it’ll probably make a ton more when it hits home markets. Here’s what you can expect to find on the Blu-Ray when it arrives October 1.

THE CROODS is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world’s first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures – and their outlook is changed forever.
