The Lazygamer Podcast Remastered: Episode 7 – The Evolve Beta

44 second read

We’re knee deep in sweat, spent controller batteries and might have left a keyboard embedded in our monitors. And that’s because a bunch of us have just finished playing the open beta for Evolve. I got my first taste of the game last weekend, popping that Goliath onslaught cherry, while Zoe had to form her own fellowship of the beta in order to download the files for the lastest test version of the game. All that, and more in our latest podcast and vidcast!

Here’s our video version of the latest chat:

As well as our SoundCloud upload for the bandwidth-deprived:

If you like what you see or hear, don’t forget to subscribe. Or as Zoe says, do it anyway. Do it, or the bunny gets it.

  1. Constructive criticism time: As a gamer who’s on the fence about this game, what I really want from a podcast like this is for the tough questions to be discussed, like whether this game offers an adequate amount of value, and whether this formula of 4v1 will become stale quickly. All this game appears to be is another Titanfall but with even less content.

I finally remember a game I played that resembles this. But not by too much. Giants : Citizen Kabuto.

Still dunno about this one, I was so excited, even put in leave for the day. Then after 8 hrs of the Beta, I began feeling alittle bored of it. Cancelled my days leave and decided to see how it pans out after release.
