I can’t believe that it’s been two years since The Legend Of Korra burst onto the scene. Now some folks feel that the show may be great but that it doesn’t live up to the benchmark set by The Last Airbender. Not me. I love this show equally, and while it may not be better than the first Avatar series, it most certainly is equal to it in many ways. Still, all good things must come to an end. Prepare for the final Korra saga, as the Avatar attempts to bring balance to the world one final time.
Can Korra maintain balance in a world that is rapidly changing?
Sweet cabbages, there is a lot to digest in that trailer. It’s three years after the events of Book Three, and it looks like the world has changed drastically. Republic City looks like it still has some spiritual issues that aren’t going away, the Air Nation has wingsuits (emotional detachment my ass Zaheer) and Korra has recovered in the interim. Never mind the fact that it looks like the Earth Kingdom is up to something, Varrick is back, mechs on the prowl and the retun of a fan favourite character from the Last Airbender series. Twinkle-toes.
Book Four kicks off on October 3. And it looks like Korra is going down swinging in her final season.
