You can’t keep an aging action star down, and with the latest Universal Soldier movie, Day of Reckoning, we’ve got two of ’em haging around this time, as Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren return to their recycled roles.
There’s a new poster and details out for the flick, right after the jump. The fourth official film, since JCVD and the Dolph returned in 2009 for Regeneration, Day of Reckoning finds director John Hyams calling the shots once again. Here’s a look at the web poster:
And as you can see, it’s not only just the two usual suspects above doing the reanimation tango, as Scott Adkins also stars, possibly as the actual headliner of this pic.
Adkins himself awakens from a coma in the movie, discovering that his family is dead and that JCVD’s Luc Devereaux may be behind it all. A quest for revenge follows, as Adkins tangles with new UniSols, including a tenacious super-soldier played by MMA hard puncher Andre “Pitbull” Arlovski
Oh, and the Dolph’s character, Andrew Scott, is once again back from the dead, leading an army of “rouge” soldiers. Yes, rouge. Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning, gets a theatrical release in the USA on November 30.
Followed by a DVD release everywhere else, we reckon.

Well, for one thing you cannot fail JCVD and Dolph on their determination to stay in the acting game. Pity thought that their movies are all a bunch of crap. No, it really is sad. I am still kind of hoping that Dolph gets a big budget role somewhere playing the villain.
